I have over 12 years’ experience in Software Design and Programming and have worked on both Web and Windows applications. Over this time I have used many software languages and technologies.  In an ever-changing industry I have found my most valuable skill is adaptability born from my love of learning.

I enjoyed my Software Design and Network degree, where I gained a 1st Class Hons and was presented two awards. After this I sought a job that would allow me to develop further and spent seven years as a software developer at Eurocom.  Next I spent 3 years as a Developer at PXtech, focusing on usability and design of their websites and applications. During this time I became a Microsoft Certified Professional after successfully passing  the “Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3” course. Despite leaving this job to become an expat I still have strong ties with PXtech and have been employed on short term contracts.

But I’m not just a ‘Techy’

I am a Mum (of 3 crazy boys), a surfer, a traveller,  an expat and a swimming teacher. I am friendly, approachable and a people person. I enjoy socializing, meeting new people and learning from new experiences.

Currently I am self-employed, helping clients setup and maintain their websites. I thoroughly enjoy this as it makes the most of my soft and technical skills.
